CORE SCOUTING ACTIVITIES

ROLE MAIN TASKS WHEN / HOW OFTEN SKILLS/QUALITIES NEEDED RESPONSIBLE

TO

Section Leaders ·  Manage and lead the operation of the section

·  Plan and deliver the “Balanced Programme” with the help of Assistant Section Leaders, Section Assistants and Young Leaders

·  Attend and contribute to Leaders meetings & AGMs. Attend Group Executive meetings (optional).

Weekly section meetings in term time (scouts all year) plus preparation time, camp weekends and attendance at relevant meetings Desire to work with and support young people

·  Collect deposits/balances and forward to Treasurer

·  Maintain a list of those willing to help with marquees (marquee team)

·  Contact marquee team members and arrange meeting times/locations to help when marquee booked out

·  Collect van (or organise someone to do so), load with marquees, deliver to site

·  Update online bookings calendar
